Crowders Mountain Engagement

After hearing about a gorgeous engagement session from my good friends Critsey and Thomas of Critsey Rowe Photography that was gonna go down at Crowders Mountain State Park, I decided to pack my gear and hit the road.

Rebecca and Kyle were full of smiles and were pretty much willing to do anything for the shot. We had a last minute idea to use some heart cards (and no, it wasn't anywhere near Valentines Day) and it worked perfect.

Man ole man... what a good time. If you love being behind the camera, it's hard to beat a fun evening with your friends doing something you love. Good times, good fellowship, good people... good everything!

Mucho love to Rebecca & Kyle!

The Inn at Crestwood Resort Wedding :: Joanna + Tyler

Before I dive into all the awesomeness about Joanna and Tyler, I must give a HUGE bear hug to my good friend Cassandra Bradley at BlueSky Studios, Inc. She did a lot of the organizing that I would normally do for couples to get their wedding information. High five Cassandra!!!

Before I ever met Joanna I already knew they were having their wedding in the mountains (thanks to Cassandra). My eyebrows always lift up quite a bit when I hear "mountain weddings".

When I first arrived at the Inn at Crestwood Resort; I think I just stood there in amazement for a while. Obviously you could tell that I'd never been there before.

This place is gorgeous and beautiful all smashed into one.

We all had one heck of a good time! I cannot wait to go back for more!

Check out this gorgeous wedding highlights video of Joanna & Tyler.

Myers Park Baptist & The Club at Longview Wedding = Madeleine + Chris

When I received a phone call about this wedding, I had no idea how amazing it was going to be...

During our consultation, Madeleine said they had a surprise for their guest at 10 pm. And sure-nuff, at 10 pm on a lovely summer night, everyone was treated to a fancy fireworks show. You just don't see stuff like that enough! Lemme tell ya, a storm started to form around the same time and we all were graced with some thunder and lightning to go along with the fireworks. Thankfully, the lightning was way far off in the distance but enough to help light up the sky. I'd have to say this was probably the best fireworks show I've ever seen.

I had such a great time. Everything was energetic and well thought out. Huge high five's to all the vendors that had a part in this wedding. Rachel Fesko was rocking out their photos and my buddy ole pal Bill Clements from Z Brothers DJ's was there along with the Dueling Piano band.

One thing is for sure, Madeleine, Chris and their parents has some serious class. I can't begin to tell you how much I love getting high fives from the father of the bride!!! Madeleine and Chris rocked out their "I do's" at Myer's Park Baptist Church and then jammed the night away at The Club at Longview.

Have a look for yourselves on how fabulous their wedding was. This video clip is the the final ending to their DVD.

Stephanie + Mike @ Asbury Park Grove

How adorable is this couple!!! Here's what I know about Mike and Stephanie. They have a hilarious sense of humor, they have great personalities and most of all, they'll make you feel like you've known them forever in a short amount of time. Yep... that's Mike and Stephanie for sure.

It never gets too old to see grooms singing to their wife!
Mike and Stephanie had their wedding on a Tuesday (that's right I said Tuesday) evening at Asbury Park Grove along with my good friends Critsey and Thomas with Critsey Rowe Photography.

They warned me that there would be a lot of emotions on their wedding day, and boy oh boy were they ever so right. All throughout the entire day, the good ole heartfelt vibes were thick as molasses.

All I know is this, once you get to know them, you just want to hug them! That pretty much sums up how awesome they are!

Amy + Andrew @ The VanLandingham Estate

One of the first things I love to do with all couples is schedule a time to meet up and go over all the details of their wedding as well as show a few clips from previous wedding movies. This way couples can get a good idea of how I like to film and edit their wedding movies as well as learn who I am a bit personally.

When Amy got a little teared up after watching a few scenes, I knew they were just my kind of couple!

Before the photo sessions with the family on their wedding day,  I was able to slip over to the guys and shoot a few scenes of them. Just as I walked in the door, Andrews brother greeted me with a bear hug out of the clear blue yonder.

What I tell ya... my kinda couple! Enjoy a few of their movie freeze frames.
